Ephesians 1:1-14 06.2020 Pt 1
The Bible repeatedly tells us… that God declares: No matter who you are; where you come from; who you know; how much you have; OR what others may think of you - God says: You are Valuable to Me!
This week we will continue to explore John 15:1-2 and focus on the activity of our vine-dresser the Lord God Himself. Our heavenly vine-dresser knows exactly what we need in order to stay on the trellis of life that has been given to us, He knows just what it takes for us to be fruitful both here on earth and in the kingdom to come.
The fruit of our vines of faith are there to show the glory of God. But, it's best remembered that the fruit didn’t just appear on the vine because someone wanted it to, it takes more than love, more that faith to reach maturity, it takes discipline from all parties.
Our service this week fits in with the Holiness theme that the Church of the Nazarene is covering for the Month of April. Please stay watching for the next few weeks as we not only look at what it is to be Holy but also celebrate Easter and the resurrection of Christ. Please enjoy the Worship music before and after this service.
Have you ever stood back and wondered about what it is to look holy, or to come across as a holy person? This week we will continue our theme of holiness by looking into Matthew 23:25-26 where Jesus points out that holiness is a matter of cleanliness on the inside, and not just an outward appearance.
This week we will again learn a little more about holiness and what Wesley himself thought was the strongest element in our pursuit of Holiness….love.
A tough message today. As branches in the vine of Christ there are 2 ways that we can turn. One leads to unimaginable disaster and the other continues forever in equally unimaginable joy. The question is, which would YOU rather be... the choice is yours!
This week Petrina shares about how good it makes us feel to be encouraged and how we can be of great encouragement to others.
This week Petrina ask us whether or not we will be like the apostle John and linger in emptiness long enough to receive the rich blessings that the Lord is seeking to pour out upon us. Our Scripture Reference for this week is John 19:28- John 20:18
